Try these examples.The game, explained.
The rules are simple. The hard part is getting it right.
What’s the difference between a competition and a group?
A competition is the event you follow: the NFL, the NBA, the Premier League… with its questions and results. A group is your crew of players: it follows one or more competitions. For each one, you choose how long it lasts: the whole competition, with picks to make every week, or a single night, for one matchday or a one-night event. Several groups can follow the same competition.
Who confirms the results?
The WeGoat team. Game scores (soccer, NFL, NBA, NHL) come in automatically from the official source; other results (TV, music…) are entered by the team. Spot a mistake? Report it from the result: the team checks it and fixes it.
Can my friends see my answers?
Your picks stay private until each question locks. After that, you can compare your choices with the rest of your group.
How do I join a group?
With the invite link a friend sent you, their code or a keyword (“I have a code or keyword”), or from Explore for public groups and official WeGoat groups.
Is there any money involved?
No. You play only for points and your place on the leaderboard. No real money, ever.
The best rivals? Your friends.
Create a group, invite your friends and enjoy every game in a whole new way.
